I have practiced yoga for over 28 years. My practice has offered me at different times a sense of grounding, growth, release, joy, and discovery. My own curiosity and desire to deepen my personal practice, led me to become a certified Kripalu yoga teacher in 2006. I fell in love with teaching yoga and supporting people in befriending their bodies and discovering the many physical and psychological benefits of yoga. I have continued to pursue specialized yoga training including yoga for seniors, yoga for cancer and Elemental Yoga, a mind-body approach to yoga and yoga therapeutics, with a specific focus on yoga for anxiety, depression and insomnia. Additionally, I completed an 18-month study on the integration of mindfulness meditation and yoga through Spirit Rock Meditation Center.
